A familiar object, reconsidered.

Prompt: REFERENCE invites designers and makers to rethink the bookend, experimental objects that pair well with books on a shelf. Located in a former Library, we have many shelves.

Each submission should offer something specific to the maker behind it: a material obsession, a process, a point of view, or simply an idea worth placing between books.

Requirements for entry: must provide sketches, concepts, a prototype/POC or photos of a WIP via email. Based on the volume of applications and available space we will decide how many and which submissions are accepted. Members of Reference will automatically be accepted. 

Fee: $25 entry fee. Submitted electronically or via check to Library 19 LLC. 

Size restrictions- Objects must fit within 1 or 2  12" x 12-1/4" x 6" standard flat rate USPS boxes for ease of shipping and return.
